I am writing this message with extreme disappointment and frustration.
Recently, I saw your new YouTube video where you clearly said that Prime Agent has been launched and is available on every Primebook. This created an expectation among all users, including Gen 1 users like me who own the Primebook Wi-Fi model. But now you are saying that Prime Agent will not come on Wi-Fi and 4G models. This is a clear case of making a public promise and then going back on it. This is highly unfair and misleading.
The hardware of Primebook Wi-Fi and 4G models is capable enough to run Prime Agent. There is no valid technical reason to exclude Gen 1 users. If you can run it on Gen 2 devices, you can also bring it to Wi-Fi and 4G models. Denying this feature only to older models shows that you do not care about existing customers who already bought your product.
Apart from Prime Agent, I have been requesting multiple important features for a long time, but not even one of them has been properly implemented on Gen 1 devices. You keep giving vague replies like “we have taken your suggestions into consideration” or “we will do our best,” but nothing concrete has been delivered.
Here is the complete list of features I have requested multiple times and which are still missing:
True Extended Display support via HDMI (not just screen mirroring)
1080p resolution support on external display (since the device has HDMI 1.2, which fully supports 1080p)
Proper Split Screen / Multi-window functionality
Smooth macOS-like animations for better user experience
Performance Modes:
Gaming Mode
Performance Mode
Balanced Mode
Battery Saving Mode
In Gaming Mode: Only one game should run at a time, and it should get maximum system resources (example: on 4GB RAM, around 1GB for OS and 3GB for the game). Currently, games like Asphalt Legends crash or restart the device within 30–40 seconds even on lowest settings.
Local support to run Windows .exe files (not only through Cloud PC)
Support for Linux files and applications
Better multilingual support
And now, Prime Agent for Wi-Fi and 4G models
You keep pushing Cloud PC as a solution for everything. This feels like you are more interested in selling cloud services than improving the actual device experience. A laptop should work properly on its own without forcing users to depend on cloud for basic needs.
All these features should be built-in inside PrimeOS itself. Users should not be required to install extra apps or depend on workarounds. Prime Agent, performance modes, extended display, and other features must come as native parts of the operating system.
I have been patiently giving feedback for a long time, but the continuous ignoring of Gen 1 users and the false promise about Prime Agent has made me lose trust. You cannot launch something in a public video saying it is for “every Primebook” and then exclude Wi-Fi and 4G models later.
I strongly demand that:
Prime Agent should be made available on Wi-Fi and 4G models
All the features listed above should be added in a proper software update for Gen 1 devices
These features should be in-built in PrimeOS
Please give a clear and honest reply this time instead of another vague response. Gen 1 users also paid for these devices and deserve equal support.
