Hi Primebook Team,
I am a Primebook Wi-Fi (Gen 1) user and I am extremely frustrated with the continuous problems and missing features. Below is the full list of issues I have raised many times:
1. Game Performance & Crashes
In Subway Surfers, the game starts lagging very badly after 1,00,000 score. The device slows down, freezes, and sometimes restarts.
In Asphalt Legends, even on the lowest settings, the game crashes or the laptop restarts after 30–40 seconds.
Overall gaming performance is very poor and unstable.
2. No Full Power While Charging
Even when the laptop is plugged in and charging, it does not give maximum performance. The CPU does not receive full power, so FPS stays low. This should not happen. While charging, the device must use full performance.
3. No Proper Performance Modes
Please add these modes in PrimeOS:
Gaming Mode
Performance Mode
Balanced Mode
Battery Saving Mode
In Gaming Mode:
Only one game should run at a time
Maximum system resources should go to the game
On a 4GB RAM device, around 1GB for the OS and 3GB for the game
Background apps should be restricted
4. File Manager is Very Bad
We can select only one file at a time or press Ctrl + A to select everything.
There is no option to long-press and select multiple specific files (3–4 or more) like Windows. Please add proper multi-select feature.
5. HDMI & Display Problems
Only screen mirroring works. There is no true extended/secondary display.
Even though the device has HDMI 1.2 (which supports 1080p), the external display is limited and extended mode is missing.
Please enable proper extended display and 1080p output.
6. Multi-Window / Split Screen is Weak
Proper multi-window and split-screen support is still missing or very limited. It does not work like a real laptop.
7. Windows & Linux File Support
We cannot properly run Windows .exe files locally. You only push Cloud PC, which is not a real solution.
There is also no proper support for Linux files and applications.
Users download many Windows and Linux files from the browser and cannot use them.
8. Prime Agent – Fake Promise
You publicly said in your video that Prime Agent is available on every Primebook. But now Gen 1 Wi-Fi and 4G users are told they will not get it. This is a false promise. Gen 1 devices should also get Prime Agent, and it should be built-in.
9. Wi-Fi + Hotspot at the Same Time
Currently we cannot use Wi-Fi and Hotspot together.
Please add support so that:
We can connect to Wi-Fi and turn on Hotspot at the same time
The Primebook can act like a range extender and increase the Wi-Fi range using its hotspot
This feature is very useful and missing right now.
10. Other Missing Things
Smooth animations (like macOS) are missing
Better multilingual support is needed
Overall system still feels like a limited Android device, not a real laptop
You keep giving vague replies like “we have taken your suggestions into consideration” but almost nothing has been fixed on Gen 1 devices. Gen 1 users are being ignored while newer models get more features.
I demand that you properly fix all the above issues and add the missing features for Primebook Wi-Fi and 4G models. Give a clear answer instead of another vague reply.
