I am Parag, a Primebook user from Malegaon, Maharashtra. I have been using my Primebook laptop for the last few weeks and I am writing this long complaint with deep frustration. The performance of the device is very poor, especially when running daily apps like Blinkit and Instamart. The laptop is so laggy that it is becoming difficult to use for even basic tasks.
The biggest problem is with quick commerce apps. Both Blinkit and Instamart run extremely poorly on my Primebook. This is not a small issue — it makes the entire device frustrating to use.
Detailed Issues I am Facing:
Severe Lag in Blinkit App
When I open the Blinkit app, the interface feels very heavy. Scrolling through product categories or item lists is extremely laggy. Every swipe takes 3 to 6 seconds to respond. The screen stutters, freezes for several seconds, and sometimes jumps suddenly. Smooth scrolling, which should be basic in any modern app, is completely missing.
Blinkit Full Screen Mode Completely Broken
When I tap on any product to view it in full size mode, the app becomes almost unresponsive. The image takes a very long time to load, the screen freezes, and most of the time the entire app stops working. In many cases, Blinkit crashes completely and I have to reopen the app again. This makes it impossible to properly check product details, images, or descriptions.
Instamart App Performance Issues
The Instamart interface is also very laggy. Scrolling is slow and unresponsive. Even though the app does not crash immediately in full screen mode, it becomes extremely heavy. After just 1 or 2 scrolls in full screen view, the app starts glitching badly — the screen freezes, images distort, and many times the app crashes suddenly.
Overall Device Lag on Primebook
These problems are not limited to just these two apps. The entire Primebook feels slow and unresponsive. Switching between apps, opening multiple tabs, or even doing normal browsing becomes painful. The device struggles to handle basic Android apps that should run smoothly on a laptop.
I expected Primebook to be a good laptop for students and daily use, especially being a Made in India product. Unfortunately, the current Android-based PrimeOS is not able to deliver acceptable performance. The hardware seems capable, but the software optimization is very poor. This is causing a bad user experience.
Why This Problem Must Be Fixed Immediately:
Students buy Primebook mainly for studies, online classes, assignments, and quick tasks like ordering groceries. When even simple apps like Blinkit and Instamart run this badly, the device fails its basic purpose.
Daily users expect smooth performance. Right now, using the laptop feels like a struggle instead of convenience.
If these performance issues continue, many users like me will lose trust in the brand and will be forced to return the device or switch to other laptops.
Good hardware is useless if the software cannot utilize it properly. The current Android-based PrimeOS has clear limitations in handling modern apps smoothly.
I request the Primebook technical and product team to treat this complaint with high priority. Please investigate the following:
Optimize PrimeOS for better app performance, especially scrolling and full-screen views.
Fix heavy lag issues in quick commerce and shopping apps.
Improve memory management and resource allocation so that apps like Blinkit and Instamart run smoothly.
Resolve crashing and glitching problems in full screen mode.
Consider long-term solutions such as moving to a proper Linux-based OS built from scratch for much better performance and stability.
I have been facing these issues for many days now and my patience is running out. If the performance is not improved soon through a software update, I will have no choice but to write negative reviews, return the device, and share my experience publicly.
Please forward this detailed complaint to your senior technical team and product development team. I expect a proper response with a clear timeline on when these lag and performance issues will be resolved.
