Dear Primebook Team, I have a suggestion that could greatly improve the Primebook experience for students and learners. One of the biggest limitations of Primebook is that users cannot install .exe or .deb software. For example, many students want to use VS Code for programming, but it cannot be installed because the Windows version comes as an .exe file. My suggestion is: Primebook should provide Primebook-compatible APK versions of popular desktop apps through an official Primebook website …

You told us you are building something similar and now this !

Please put another update in short period of time(a month or two) covering all user complains.

I personally need coding tools to do coding(As I am Computer Science Student) but in the name of coding tool Primebook only supports Prime Coding, why no launch VS code with partnership with the Microsoft or launch your own tool having all features of VS CODE but better and VS CODE

bruh now they are entitled to what they roll out they have done massive customization and improved os very much i think you should go for cloud or wait as they have posted on instagram that they are working on windows apps.

now i m fully satisfied how they launch app lock and system monitoring and file manager and furthermore new security patche.

I appriciated Primebook for their work, It just a complaint from my side !
It’s nothing big but something important !

My CS Practicals are coming up and Prime Coding is not suitable for me because of its complexity.

Thats why I showed my urgency of VS CODE in the post !

Hi Bhuvan, we understand your point. However, please understand that we can’t implement everything in an upcoming OTA immediately, as we have a roadmap and planned timelines. We don’t give our users false expectations. We’re definitely working on something, but we haven’t disclosed the timeline yet. If your requirements are urgent, we recommend using Linux Cloud PC to access VS Code.

Atleast let us explore by using Custom ROM by unlocking bootloader. Primebook doesn’t seem to be an android device, since NO CUSTOMISATION and extremely locked system . We are stuck with just a browser to use on Primebook.
